Mapungubwe - the big bird paradise!

Amazed like always about the amount of sightings we had at this World Heritage Sight, and even better is to see a successful breeding pair of Ground Hornbills (Bocurous leadbeateri) with a juvenile in the area.

To close our day a Kori Bustard (Ardeotis kori) caught a Fat mouse (Steatomys pratensis) and gave us a live display of how these majestic birds go about in their ways.
