Fat boy visits Venetia
With no adult male lion on the reserve we have been waiting to see what effect it will have on the lion population around the area. Mapungubwe National Park has a adult male lion (Panthera leo) called Fat boy, and he recently decided to make a appearance on the reserve, he was found with Pikanin a adult female lioness, that we think might still be in oestrus.
They were found together in the North of the reserve. No traces of him has been found lately but we are keeping an eye open.
