Elephants in the Hlambanyathi dam....
We all thought with the 46 degree days in Venetia we will be able to handle any hot weather but the humidity of Kwa-Zulu Natal has proved us wrong, even the elephants (Loxodonta africana) find the humidity a bit to much, and for 3 days in a row we found them at exactly 9:40am in the Hlambanyathi dam swimming, bathing and playing.
Even Nkunze the big elephant bull on the reserve made a dash for the blue waters.....
