Promotions all round

We are happy and proud to report that base managers Rene van Eeden (Karongwe Base) and Chris Joubert (Venetia Base) have both been appointed into new positions: Rene is now the expedition manager.
This means that she will be helping Pete the Country Director more and more with his work, and being trained up to cover some of the administrative and managerial work that affects both bases; Chris is now the expedition's Training manager.

This is truly a new role, and means he'll be heading up the training of staff in all matters relating to the field, and facilitating the process of advancing all of our FGASA and related qualifications. Both will still be continuing with their current base manager duties.
