Bad news for Venetia!
Bad news struck camp as we found out our collared male cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) from a coalition of two, skankaank was killed by lions (Panthera leo) on a neighbouring farm after he escaped from Venetia.
We are all sad to say goodbye to Skankaank! We don't have any news on Pajero his brother but have recently found male cheetah tracks on the reserve and have our hopes up for the tracks to belong to him.
