"dog with a mo hawk"

A slight inaccuracy of the road map caused us to end up in a clearing with a road in, but no road out. Luck was on our side when a brown hyena (Hyaena brunnea) ran into the open and crossed into a thicket from where we could hear bud crunching and the cracking of bones. Moments later the brown hyena reappeared carrying a leg and dashed back the way it had come from. Two minutes later it was back and we were able to watch it feeding on the carcass for at least fifteen minutes, giving us all an incredibly special sighting of this normally elusive, nocturnal "dog with a mo hawk"
