Amazing 2 hours with Skankaank!!

Find all started quite well with signal for the cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) but ended up for us driving about 3hours around Luzzelia dam to get a visual, on the way there we bumped into a caracal (Felis caracal) at 8:30am, they are normally nocturnal animals, that exited us all and made a improvement on the freezing weather.

We ended up doing triangulation that ended more in a square than in a triangle....

Heading back a bit disappointed for not seeing the boys, we drove into the fresh water buck (Kobus ellipsiprymnus) kill they had just made. We were rewarded with a 2 hour sighting of the boys fighting over the kill and it also gave us valuable data on the coalitions relationship.

All and all something to remember of Africa!
