Blade and Pikanin Mating
On the 16th of April we found Blade our male lion (Panthera leo) with the rest of the pride but not as relaxed as he normally is, growling and chasing the cubs and Thika away from Pikanin, we then realised that they were mating.
The following week they were found at Hartebeest fontein house-dam, mating. Blade showed quite a bit of aggression towards the vehicles and didn't allow anyone close to Pikanin, not even her sister Thika.
