The Rains Arrive!!
Last saturday night we had our first huge downpour of rain - 28mm to be precise! It was one of those amazing electric storms that you just cannot keep your eyes off. The next morning I was on drive and both the Kuvenyame and Makutsi Rivers were flowng...amazing to see after it being so dry. Drives from now on will be a lot longer as many of the river crossings are untouchable - apart from those brave enough to try! The Frogs, Leopard Tortioses, and Scorpions are out in 'storm' and its time for the insect repellent!!
