End of Movember Update

December is officially upon us, which means the "Mo-bro's" here at Karongwe can finally show off and then shave off, our painstakingly groomed Moustaches! It's been tough, with a few men not making it all 30 days. However, our faces remained billboards for Cancer Awareness throughout, with efforts extending beyond the Mundulea House into the local Hoedspruit and Tzaneen communties.

For your viewing pleasure, Andrew, Karongwe Science Officer; Pete, GVI South Africa Country Director; and I, Andreas, Research Assistant at Karongwe, have agreed to have our faces shown on the internet in all their glory (despite my generally poor ability at growing facial hair)

Pete seems to have grown fond of his moustache, and is yet to have it removed. Andrew and I are enjoying a return to the norm. We hope our small efforts, along with that of the thousands of other people across the globe have helped raise awareness for this vital cause.
