Mapungubwe was leke!

We started our day well with a sighting of a spotted hyena (Crocuta crocuta) and headed of to the national park. Mapungubwe was great fun we had some pretty good sightings and was well informed on the history of the park. John one of our volunteers kept us entertained, and the confluence gave us a few good surprises.

The day was full of excitement mostly the animals we saw was running away because of to exited volunteers but never the less we still had good visual of most of them. We saw two of the big 6 birds and had a good laugh at a elephant (Loxodonta africana) that fell fast asleep on its side. After a good lunch of tuna and cheese we returned to camp satisfied that the day was successful.
