Wish list was truly a wish list

At Venetia Wish list day is usually a bit on the quiet side, but this time I couldn't believe our luck, we started the drive with a nice picture at the big Boabab tree (Adansonia digitata) and then moved on to look at the Hippo (Hippopotamus amphibius) in Skelm dam who gave quite a display.

We drove around to Boma Road to see if we cant find the lions (Panthera leo) but instead stumbled onto a unknown Breeding herd of Elephants (Loxodonta africana). Still in excitement we saw some Chacma baboons (Papio ursinus) crossing the fence line like a bunch of criminals.

And then to top it all half an hour later a Caracal (Felis caracal) run over the road.

What a way to remember Venetia!
