Au revoir

GVI Venetia are incedibly sad to say goodbye to our outgoing Bushwise Intern Sophia Leroy. Giving up her penchant for fine coffee and "proper bread" (apparently this can only be found in France...) Soph decided to follow her heart and head to the wilds of South Africa. Over her 10 months on Venetia Soph was an invaluable part of the staff team and we’re sure everyone – staff and volunteers alike – would like to extend their gratitude for all she’s done for us here. With a huge passion not only for the bush but life in general, Soph you are truly one of a kind. Best of luck for all your future plans Soph. The mopaneveld won’t be quite the same without you.

Also leaving us is Greg Devine, our intern for the last 10 months, who returns to the UK to begin his degree in Wildlife Conservation. Once again a massive thank you Greg, you know you'll be missed. Keep up the good work, we hope to see you back in Africa after you’ve graduated!
We look forward to welcoming back Div Puril, one of GVI's 20-week volunteers, to begin his placement with us from August. We're also very glad to have persuaded Colin Crothers to remain in the sun a few months longer and continue as our second base intern.
