New lion at Venetia!
Excitement is all around about a new male lion (Panthera leo), named Vhembe, crossed over into Venetia from a nearby farm Halcyon. The male does have a satellite collar and we have been trying to track him down ever since, and so has Blade our resident male lion.
Blade (photo) is in top shape and we are keeping an eye on him to see if there is any interaction between the two males when we cant see what he is up to.
