Mwene's Limp

We were really worried about Mwene, our subadult female lion (Panthera leo), as she was seen limping so badly that she wasn't putting any weight on her front left leg. We were so relieved when we saw her a few days later, almost back to normal!

Mwene and her two brothers have been quite seperate from their mother (Maggie) and aunty (Lisa) as both adult females have new cubs. Lisa has 1 and Maggie 3 and they've obviously been keeping their mothers busy as they have killed two waterbuck in two weeks. Zero (the pride male) was allowed to eat some but the 3 subadults have been fending for themselves.
