What a way to start a expedition!
I cannot believe how lucky the new 10 week group at Venetia has been! On their first drive out on Venetia they got to see the big white rhino bull (Ceratohtherum simum), that we always find fresh tracks off but never seem to get to see him, and on the same drive they saw a civet (Civettictis civetta) one of the small cats you don't get to see often on Venetia. I myself haven't even seen one on the 
reserve! What a good way to start a expedition!
